Each year millions
of people from around the world travel to Arizona to see the crown
jewel of the American landscape - The Grand Canyon.
Though seeing is believing, you can do much more than look! You
can experience it on a personal level, up close, one step at time!
At the same time, you
will bring help and hope into the lives of thousands of lives of
the people whose lives are affected by genetic disorders, cancers,
diabetes, spinal cord injuries, homelessness and poverty.

Conquer
The Canyon participants and teams relish in the
opportunity to experience the magnificent beauty of the Grand
Canyon. From the rolling hills of the rim to the steep descents
into the Canyon of up to 3,000 feet, they will hike the trails
led by The Walking Connection's best expert guides who will
interpret the intricacies of the geology, history, flora,
fauna and environmental zones of the canyon.
If
YOU are
willing to join a team, train and prepare yourself for an
exciting adventure then you have come to the right place.
By yourself, with a few friends, a corporate team or a hiking
club, you can support one of many .ORG Partners
and their mission while positively changing your own life.
Conquer The Canyon
provides a special training program to help prepare you to
meet the personal challenges of one of several levels of hikes
at Grand Canyon - from the easiest walks along a paved path
to the most difficult trails into and out of the Grand Canyon.
There is a walk or hike to suit everyone.
Walking Connection
professional Grand Canyon Guides will lead small groups of
just 6 - 7 hikers. This hotel based adventure provides "A
Grand Adventure" while hiking the canyon, plus all the
fun you can possibly have hiking with a great group of friends.
