us to discuss putting Conquer The Canyon to work for you!
Why
would someone sign up for Conquer The Canyon?
Because they can do something good for themselves like getting in
shape, contributing to their community and hiking Grand Canyon while
at the same time
supporting a local cause they believe in, conquering homelessness.
Ultimately, they sign up for the same reasons they participate in
a golf tourney, casino night, 5k fun walk or gala ball - YOU and
YOUR MISSION. A huge key to the success of the program is that your
constituents are undertaking the challenge of raising significant
funds for you by participating in a physically demanding adventure
for themselves. Their reward is not just a 5k walk-a-thon in a local
park - it's a fantastic adventure at the Grand Canyon!
What
are the staffing requirements for me?
- One
part time staff or volunteer Hike Team Leader. We train this person
to coordinate and lead your team.
- One
part time staff or volunteer
Campaign Leader. We train this person to coordinate between your
organization and the team and to manage and account for the fundraising.
When
does my organization start receiving funds?
From the moment you sign up team members.
What
if we have more than 6 people (one team) who want to participate?
GREAT! You can bring as many teams
as you like. Call us or complete the short
interest form and we'll work out all the details for you.
When
does Conquer The Canyon Start?
Fundraising starts the minute your team is signed up. Training for
the Grand Canyon hike begins 8-weeks prior to the hike date.
When
is the adventure at Grand Canyon?
Autumn Dates in September and October, 2011.
(Space is limited to 15 teams of 6 participants ONLY - First Come
First Served).
How
do I get all the details?
Complete and submit the short
interest form. We'll contact you
additional information. If you would like to talk to someone right
